Since it is considered a Caribbean spot, you can consider it as completely tropical. Its yearly average temperature reaches about 30 degrees Celsius. This is the only place where you can stay hot during the winter months and stay cool enough during the summer months.

The shopping malls and restaurants nearby are the places where people run to hang out for some time to experience some air-conditioned ambiance. However, the natural cooling air brought by the Caribbean breeze is enough for as long as you wear a good amount of suntan all the time.

It is definitely the perfect place for sun worshippers. The rain showers occur seldom and short. But anyone staying at St. Thomas befriends this occasional shower rains to cool down the entire hot and sunny place.

There are local museums where you can learn about the history of the town. See the 18th century planning of the city while exercising at the 99 steps.

Or you can take a drive and go to the highest peak on St. Thomas, you can enjoy the view and stop over at the world famous Drakes Seat to see the wonderful and breathtaking vista that is Magens Bay. There are plenty of lookout points to take pictures at and some really interesting areas around the island. A knowledgeable tour guide will take you to most places, or you can opt to just explore the island on your own.
