In 1820, the Frederick Lutheran Church was constructed few blocks away from the Main Street in memory of Denmark’s reign over the Virgin Islands. This sturdy church with majestic bell tower was known as the official house of worship of the Danish West Indies.

This historical site remains a beauty as it withstood several disasters like massive fires in the past. Presently located at Norre Gade in Charlotte Amalie, this Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church’s architecture is a mixture of the gothic era and neo-classical look as presented by it’s grand front steps.

Decorated with stained window glasses and tough archwaysr, this church is famous for being a wonderful wedding venue.
