The Seven Arches Museum is a few minutes away from Charlotte Amalie’s Main Street. It gives you a spectacular view of the harbor along with the terminal of the cruise ships. Upon entering the museum, the very first thing you will see would be the staircase of “welcoming arms” with the most beautiful of flowers and all the humming of the birds.

Do not miss to see the Danish West Indian Coin collection and the Royal Copenhagen dishes which were used before by the first homeowners. This is the place where visitors can sit back and relax, away from all the hurriedness in the crowded city.

She is related to the now famous Magens Bay Beach. They raised well all their nine children in this ancient house which has now turned out to be a museum.

This 19th century house was restored. All the rooms of the house were fully furnished with artistic and antique pieces which led to it becoming such a living museum. It also has other interesting parts to explore like the outdoor kitchen and its herb garden.

You can enter it by foot close to the top of 99 steps. So if you brought a car, you can just park neat the Blackbeard’s Castle Inn.

It was created in 1660 and was first initiated by the pioneer settlers of the region. However, with the unity of all the involved ministers and congregation, the history of the island was further shaped for the past 350 years.

For the last 14 years, the pastor who led the church services was rev. Jeffrey Gargano. The entire credibility of the church also depends on the status it holds in the world. It belongs to one of the oldest denominations in the US which is the Reformed Church founded in 1862.

This 2010, there will be a series of concerts and musical events that every visitor of the island should not miss.

From the benches to the bima, all were made out of mahogany that used to be found abundantly on the island. All the chandeliers though were from Europe, specifically Holland.

Its walls are all fireproof since the building was made out of bricks and other kinds of stones instead of wood. Those stones were believed to be quarried from Europe. Its sand floor is another of its most interesting features. Many legends say that this is the very path that Moses and his children walked for the whole 40 years.

Consistent restorations were being made to the place and by 1995 to around 1996, there was a tiny museum that was added to the synagogue. It was named after Johnny Weibel who was a congregation member. The said museum displays the history of the congregation and some of the rest of the Jewish history spread on the island.

It is an island which measures 491.5 acres with over 161 residents. However, most parts are still undeveloped. It is located on the southern side of St. Thomas for about a half-mile far. Some tourists who want to see the island reach it by a ferry ride.

The most popular attraction in this island is the Honeymoon Beach. But according to some, it cannot even be called a beach. It has an area of about 50 feet long packed with rocks and vegetation and can only extend from the water line in 10 feet.

It is where you can find an underwater observatory which renders you a chance to view all kinds of marine life without having to get wet.

Because of this attraction, Coki Beach can really get utterly saturated at times. Both adults and kids alike can enjoy and have a great time in the Coral World especially if you have never really experienced seeing the beauty underwater.

You would have to pay for an admission fee though but if you would take part in the island tours, then you would have to pay for the entire tour package. If you want to reach it on your own, then you can just grab a taxi from the Charlotte Amalie or just ride the East End bus.

The Paradise Point Skyride will take you 700 ft above Charlotte Amalie. It is a must-do for tourists in the Caribbean. The skyride carries 24 passengers every seven minutes along its 8 tower ascent of Flag Hill. Enjoy the view of the hustle and bustle of St. Thomas from high above. When you get down, you can also enjoy a nature walk and it is said that it is a must to take photographs from their wedding gazebo. Three times every day, they have an exotic birds show. …after the show get your picture taken with a parrot on your shoulder – pirate style! Charlotte Amalie was a famous deep-water harbor that was once a haven for pirates. Paradise Point isn’t just for day-trippers though. Watching a sunset from here is a memorable event. Romantic evenings & sunset dinners round out the nightlife up on the hill. And of course, I won’t miss to say that it is the home of Baileys. You’ve got to have one!
