St. Thomas Schools
St Thomas schools are composed of parochial, private and public academic institutions that you can get to inquire about in the island. When it comes to public schools, you can start off with St. Thomas St John School District. They have a total of three high schools and a couple of alternative schools. They also have about 13 middle schools which cover not just St Thomas but also the island of St John. There is also the St. Croix School District that offers even the specialized special education for students with special needs.
If you have more budget to allot, then you may want to go for the private schools which include the Antilles School in St Thomas and also the Virgin Islands Montessori School. The first one has a campus that is made up of 27 acres that is perfect for those preparing for college. They serve students from age 2 to those who are already in 12th grade. They also offer amazing financial aid for those who are deserving to be called as scholars of the school.
If you are a bit concerned with religiosity applied to the education of your kids, you may want to try several of the parochial schools in the island. You can try checking out the rest of our entries under St Thomas schools so that you may get enough information about each institution before you proceed to deciding on which to go for especially if you plan to stay for good in St Thomas.
